Reminiscence, from memory to matter

Exhibition as part of the festival Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF), Beit Tulun, Cairo, 2025
In 2025, my work crossed borders for a solo exhibition in Cairo, featured in the Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival. Entitled Reminiscence: From Memory to Matter, this presentation explored the imprint of memories through stoneware pieces and installations. This immersion sparked a privileged dialogue between modern creations and a heritage site steeped in history, bridging intimate memory and the architectural presence of the city.
The exhibition integrated organically within Beit Tulun. The works found an immediate echo within this ancestral home, uniting rustic clay and stone in a harmonious language.
